How does BBL Skintyte work

How does BBL Skintyte feel?

Most clients describe the sensation as warm and comfortable, similar to the feeling of a warm stone being glided across the skin. The treatment is generally very well tolerated, and no numbing cream is required. Mild flushing in the treated area is normal and typically settles within a few hours of your appointment.

Is there any downtime after BBL Skintyte?

There is no downtime associated with BBL SkinTyte. You can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment. We do recommend applying SPF and avoiding prolonged sun exposure for at least two weeks post-treatment, and steering clear of heat-inducing activities such as saunas or intense exercise for the first 24 to 48 hours to allow the treated tissue to settle.

How often is BBL Skintyte recommended?

A series of three treatments is recommended for most clients, spaced approximately three to four weeks apart. Collagen remodelling is a gradual process, and results continue to develop over the weeks following each session, with optimal improvement typically visible around the three-month mark after completing the series. Annual maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain and build on your results over time.

what to do before your BBL Skintyte treatment

Avoid sun exposure and fake tan for at least two weeks before your appointment
Discontinue retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and other active skincare ingredients for five to seven days before treatment
Arrive with clean, bare skin - no makeup, moisturiser, or SPF on the day
Avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements where possible (check with your treating practitioner if unsure)

what to do after your BBL Skintyte treatment

Apply SPF daily and avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks following treatment
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and vigorous exercise for 24 to 48 hours
Use a gentle, non-active cleanser and moisturiser for the first 48 hours
Hold off on retinol and active skincare for five to seven days post-treatment
Drink plenty of water and keep skin well hydrated to support the healing and remodelling process
