How does Carbon Laser Facial work

A medical grade carbon cream is applied, penetrating the pores. The laser gently ablates the carbon, providing an exfoliation of dead skin cells and purification of the pores, while the thermal effect stimulates production of new collagen and elastin.

Who is Carbon Laser Facial for

This treatment is great pre-event as it leaves the skin glowing with a beautifully smooth texture. It is great for clients who want collagen induction but may not want the downtime like other treatments. It is also fantastic for clients who have oily skin as it can reduce the oil production within the skin.

How does Carbon Laser Facial feel?

There is minimal to no discomfort in this treatment. The most you will feel is some heat and a very mild flicking sensation.

Is there any downtime after Carbon Laser Facial?

There’s no downtime, so you can get back to your day straight after.

How often is Carbon Laser Facial recommended?

For best results we recommend 4-6 initial treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart depending upon concerns. However, this is still a fantastic treatment to get before an event as a one off.

Tixel treatment is not suitable for everyone. Please disclose your full health and medication history at your consultation, and inform your clinician if any of the following apply:

Recent sunburn or actively tanned skin
Light-sensitising medications — please inform your therapist of any current medications before your appointment
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Known autoimmune disorders
Active cold sores or open wounds in the treatment area
Active acne lesions in the treatment area
Skin cancer or precancerous lesions
Pacemakers or internal electrical devices
Blood-thinning medications or clotting disorders
