Who is Laser Genesis not for?
Laser genesis treatment is not suitable for everyone. Please inform your treating therapist if any of the following apply to you, as your appointment may need to be rescheduled or adapted:
- Recent sunburn or freshly tanned skin
- Current use of light-sensitising or photosensitising medications. Please disclose all medications at your consultation
- Precancerous lesions or active skin conditions in the treatment area
- Pregnancy
- Active cold sores or open wounds in the treatment area
- A history of keloid scarring
- Known hypersensitivity to laser or light-based treatments
If you are unsure whether laser genesis therapy is appropriate for your skin or health history, a consultation with one of our clinicians is the right first step. We will assess your skin thoroughly and confirm the safest, most effective treatment plan for you.
