Who is Tixel not for?
Tixel treatment is not suitable for everyone. Please disclose your full health and medication history at your consultation, and inform your clinician if any of the following apply:
- Recent sunburn or actively tanned skin
- Light-sensitising medications — please inform your therapist of any current medications before your appointment
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Known autoimmune disorders
- Active cold sores or open wounds in the treatment area
- Active acne lesions in the treatment area
- Skin cancer or precancerous lesions
- Pacemakers or internal electrical devices
- Blood-thinning medications or clotting disorders
