Our LED Lounge is a self-service treatment space where treatments can be purchased individually, or in packs of 5, 10 or 20 sessions, making it a more cost-effective solution for regular treatments.

If it's your first time, we'll guide you through the self-service steps - which products you need to use to prepare your skin before the treatment begins, how to start the LED and which post-treatment products to apply once your session is complete. After we explain the process, we leave you to relax and enjoy your session completely on your own.

LED Light Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to support healing, reduce inflammation, improve skin clarity and promote overall skin rejuvenation.

How does LED Lounge work

When you arrive, your therapist will escort you to the Self-Service LED Lounge and walk you through the full session from start to finish.

They'll show you which products to use to cleanse or prepare your skin before the treatment begins, how to start the LED and which post-treatment products to apply once your session is complete, including the recommended order of application.
Who is LED Lounge for

Suitable for a wide range of skin concerns including dull skin, acne, redness, inflammation, sensitivity and early signs of ageing. LED is also commonly used to support healing after other skin treatments.
How does LED Lounge feel?

LED is a relaxing, warm and gentle treatment. You will lie comfortably under the LED light while the skin absorbs the therapeutic light.
Is there any downtime after LED Lounge?

No downtime. You can return to normal activities immediately.
How often is LED Lounge recommended?

Best performed as a series or incorporated into an ongoing skin treatment plan.

Who is LED Lounge not for?

Tixel treatment is not suitable for everyone. Please disclose your full health and medication history at your consultation, and inform your clinician if any of the following apply:

  • Recent sunburn or actively tanned skin
  • Light-sensitising medications — please inform your therapist of any current medications before your appointment
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Known autoimmune disorders
  • Active cold sores or open wounds in the treatment area
  • Active acne lesions in the treatment area
  • Skin cancer or precancerous lesions
  • Pacemakers or internal electrical devices
  • Blood-thinning medications or clotting disorders
