How does Hydrafacial work

It uses their patented vortex technology to push product into the skin whilst simultaneously vacuum suctioning imperfections out of the skin in every step. These steps include cleansing, exfoliating, extracting and infusion of hyaluronic acid and antioxidants.
Who is Hydrafacial for

This treatment is gentle and can be customised for everyone. It is best suited to client’s who would like a deep clean to unclog pores, hydrate, improve texture and overall skin health. 
How does Hydrafacial feel?

It can feel like a mild scratching sensation as the tip is pulled against the skin. It can also have a mild tingling sensation throughout the exfoliation. 
Is there any downtime after Hydrafacial?

A few days of brown spots darkening which take 5-10 days to resolve but can be covered with makeup.

Downtime may include a few days of mild swelling when correcting pigment or redness. We can adjust the intensity of the treatment to your requirements to minimise downtime and swelling if desired. 
How often is Hydrafacial recommended?

Dependent upon which exfoliants we deem most appropriate for your skin, you can get HydraFacial's every 2-4 weeks.

Who is Hydrafacial not for?

Tixel treatment is not suitable for everyone. Please disclose your full health and medication history at your consultation, and inform your clinician if any of the following apply:

  • Recent sunburn or actively tanned skin
  • Light-sensitising medications — please inform your therapist of any current medications before your appointment
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Known autoimmune disorders
  • Active cold sores or open wounds in the treatment area
  • Active acne lesions in the treatment area
  • Skin cancer or precancerous lesions
  • Pacemakers or internal electrical devices
  • Blood-thinning medications or clotting disorders
